Malian Cooking Lesson

Just like Mali's culture, the West African country's cuisine is as rich and varied as it can get. Each cultural group has its own specialty, but there are dishes found throughout the country including cereal grains, vegetables, and others derived from local produce.

This morning you will be picked up around 10 am and transfer by private car to the local market where you will hand pick the ingredients you will cook with today. From here you will head right for the kitchen to begin learning!  Explore cooking techniques unique to Mali with your expert chef. After the meal is finished, enjoy the fruit of your labor and savor the rich flavors of the dishes you've created.
