Isla Baru Snorkeling and Mangroves Tour from Cartagena

Palm trees, azure Caribbean sea, and white, sandy beaches make up Isla Baru, an archipelago located just off the coast of Cartagena. This tropical paradise can be reached after almost an hour of a scenic bus ride, passing by the coastal towns of Pasacaballos, Alarca, Playa Blanca, and more. 

Upon arrival, hop on a boat that will take you to a popular snorkeling and diving spot. Here, you'll have the chance to feed and swim along with colorful tropical fishes and rainbow-like coral reefs. Then, head to the mangrove area and board a canoe to see different endemic and migratory birds, reptiles, and other animals. 

At noon, head back to Playa Blanca and enjoy some delicious lunch. The rest of the afternoon can be spent on the beautiful beach of Playa Blanca.
