History and Culture Walking Tour in Santa Marta

On this trip, you will walk through the streets and visit historical sites in Santa Marta. Your guide will pick you up at 9:00 am to go to your first stop Parque de Los Novios, or pick up time could be earlier if you wish to. From Parque de Los Novios, you will walk and travel through the history to the Historic Center of Santa Marta. Your next stop will be the first catholic church built in South America, Santa Marta's Cathedral wherein the remains of the city's founder Simon Bolivar were once buried before it was moved to Caracas. After a quick visit to the Cathedral you will then walk to Simon Bolivar's Park, to rest and interact with the locals. The last stop will be the Paseo El Camellon, wherein it homes sculptures from the colonization period of Colombia and illustrations of how the tribes of Colombia fought. Your van will pick you up in your last stop.
