Itinerary

Day 1 - Nairobi - Amboseli National Park

Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Your local guide will meet you at the airport, taking you to Amboseli National Park, renowned for its sizable elephant herds and spectacular vistas of Tanzania's enormous Mount Kilimanjaro. Enjoy an exhilarating game viewing drive after lunch and take in the scenic landscapes surrounding the park and spot a wide variety of wildlife such as giraffes, zebras, cheetahs, and hundreds of different bird species. You may also head to the Observation Hill, offering panoramas of the peak and the park’s plains and swamps. 

Day 2 - Amboseli National Park

Spend all day exploring the game reserve. Due to the region's scant vegetation, there is a great chance to witness some of Africa's most well-known wildlife species. Throughout the day, spot lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and wildebeest in addition to a vast range of bird species. Another well-known highlight of Amboseli National Park is that it is among the top places to see African elephants up close. From this location in Southern Kenya, one can also see the beautiful Mount Kilimanjaro.

Day 3 - Amboseli National Park - Lake Naivasha

Enjoy a delightful breakfast before heading to Lake Naivasha, a huge freshwater lake in Kenya’s Great Rift Valley. Home to a significant number of African Hippos and a variety of birds, including the famous African Fish Eagle, reconnect with nature, enjoy the serenity, and admire the marvels of nature. Spend the rest of the day at your own leisure. A boat excursion on Lake Naivasha, a walking safari through Hells Gate National Park, a climb up Mt. Longonot, or a day trip to Lake Nakuru National Park are just a few of the optional activities you can enjoy throughout the day. 

Day 4 - Lake Naivasha - Masai Mara National Reserve

Depart for Masai Mara National Reserve after breakfast. One of the greatest wildlife reserves in Africa, the Masai Mara National Reserve is renowned for its exceptional populations of cheetah, leopard, lion, and the iconic African bush elephant.  Take time to spot birds of prey among the bird species that have been identified and documented. If you are lucky, you may witness the Great Wildebeest Migration from the Serengeti, one of the world’s greatest natural phenomena. A visitor barely misses the opportunity to see the Big Five (buffalo, elephant, leopard, lion, and rhino) because there is more wildlife here than anywhere else in Africa.

Day 5 - Masai Mara National Reserve - Nairobi

Enjoy an early morning game drive followed by breakfast at the lodge, or take an early morning balloon ride over the Mara followed by a "bubbly" bush breakfast (optional extra). Later, go on a game drive in the afternoon and continue your search for the Big Five (buffalo, elephant, leopard, lion, and rhino). 

Day 6 - Masai Mara National Reserve - Nairobi

Take an early morning game drive before heading back to Nairobi. You will then transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward destination.
