Itinerary

Day 1 - Nairobi - Masai Mara National Reserve

Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Meet and greet your knowledgeable driver/guide, then make your way to the Masai Mara National Reserve, one of Kenya’s world-renowned national parks. Take in the picturesque scenic views as you head past the Great Rift Valley viewpoint. You will arrive in Masai Mara National Reserve just in time for lunch. Afterwards, go on an exciting game drive to start exploring the reserve's natural wonders and look out for endemic wildlife such as cheetah, giraffe, leopard, lion, zebra as well as the iconic African bush elephant. 

Day 2 - Masai Mara National Reserve

Spend a full day exploring Masai Mara National Reserve in search of the legendary Big Five of Africa! One of the greatest wildlife reserves in Africa, the Masai Mara National Reserve is well-known for its exceptional populations of cheetah, leopard, lion, and the iconic African bush elephant. A rich variety of birds, including immigrants, are abundant in the area. Take time to spot birds of prey among the bird species that have been identified and documented. One of the highlights of Masai Mara National Reserve is the fascinating spectacle of the Great Migration, which takes place every year from July to October. Countless herds of gazelle, wildebeest, and zebra can be seen crossing the Mara River during the season as they look for more vegetation. 

Day 3 - Masai Mara National Reserve - Nairobi

Take an early morning game drive to watch the predators as they finish their evening hunt and to capture beautiful sunrise photographs over the Masai Mara plains. You will have some free time after a late breakfast. You can swim or take a leisure stroll through the game reserve’s lovely environs, which are home to a variety of native plants and small wildlife. Afterwards, take a second game drive in the afternoon to search for animals and cross more endemic species off your list. You may also want to make time for an optional cultural encounter with the local tribespeople. Ask your driver/guide to organize a visit to the Maasai villages to observe and learn more about their way of life and culture. Finish your four-day vacation with a pre-dawn hot air balloon ride over the park. Nothing beats waking up with the sun rising over a vast park and watching it come to life in the early morning hours. Your guide would be pleased to make the necessary arrangements.

Day 4 - Masai Mara National Reserve - Nairobi

Start the day with an early morning game drive. After breakfast, depart for Nairobi, where your safari comes to an end at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
