Itinerary

Day 1 - Nairobi

Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Your local guide will pick you up at the airport, then make your way to the hotel for check in. Spend the rest of the day at your leisure.  

Day 2 - Nairobi - Aberdare National Park

Drive towards Aberdare National Park after breakfast. A protected area, Aberdare National Park is known for its picturesque, sloping forested ravines, and open moorland. Arrive at the Outspan Hotel in Nyeri for your transfer to the Treetops Lodge. The Treetops Lodge overlooks a floodlit waterhole and salt lick that, at night, attracts a variety of amazing animals, which visitors may see from the balconies of their hotel rooms or the lodge verandah. You will enter Aberdare National Park through the Treetops Gate, and go on a thrilling game drive to see animals as they stay near the water holes. Your honeymoon would be incomplete without a visit to this charming place. After dinner, enjoy a floodlit animal spectacle as the animals flock to the waterholes, most likely in moonlight.

Day 3 - Aberdare National Park - Sweetwaters

After breakfast, travel to Nanyuki in time for lunch at Sweetwater's luxury camp. Luxury tents with en-suite bathrooms and private verandahs are available for accommodation. Each tent has a view of the waterhole. The dining room, bar, and lobby are located within the quaint, original farmhouse and offer exceptional accommodation, personal service, first-rate cuisine, and an outstanding choice of activities. There is always something to do, with options such as night game drives in four-wheel-drive cars, walking safaris supervised by a knowledgeable ranger, bird walks, camel safaris, and outdoor eating.

Day 4 - Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary - Nairobi

Enjoy a leisure breakfast followed by a transfer to Nairobi, arriving in time for lunch at the world-renowned Carnivore restaurant (one of the best small restaurants in the world). After lunch, transfer to Nairobi Safari Club, then enjoy the rest of the afternoon at your leisure.

Day 5 - Nairobi - Tsavo West National Park

Drive to Tsavo West National Park and arrive in time for lunch at Finch Hattons. Afterwards, set off on an exciting afternoon wildlife drive to see enormous elephant herds, lesser kudu, lions, or cheetahs. The surrounding surroundings are home to hippos, and you may hear lions roaring in the African Jungle - definitely, a paradise in Tsavo!

Day 6 - Tsavo West National Park - Taita Hill Wildlife Sanctuary

Travel to the Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary after breakfast, arriving in time for lunch at Salt Lick Lodge. Sleep in a lodge built on stilts while watching the predator ambush at the floodlit salt licking/watering hove. You can take an optional morning balloon safari tour in the morning, which provides a wonderful view of the savannah and wildlife. 

Day 7 - Taita Hill Wildlife Sanctuary - Mombasa

Enjoy a delicious breakfast, then make your way to Mombasa. Drive to Malindi and then to Watamu to Hemingway's Resort in time for lunch. The rooms are uniquely equipped to the finest degree, with handmade furnishings designed by Armando Tanzini and Charles Tyler, as well as original paintings by Lisa Dickinson. Take time to unwind and spend the rest of the day at your own leisure.

Day 8-9 - Mombasa

Spend the next two days relaxing on the absolutely stunning beach. You may go windsurfing, snorkeling, creek fishing, or take a boat tour to explore the beaches. Kenya is a year-round safari destination with fantastic wildlife watching that visitors from all over the world come to see.

Day 10 - Mombasa

After breakfast, depart for Mombasa airport with your connecting flight from Watamu, arriving in Mombasa early in the morning. Lunch in a restaurant in Mombasa. You will then transfer to Mombasa Airport for your onward destination.
