3-Day Highlights of Tanzania Nature and Wildlife Safari

Itinerary

Day 1 - Arusha

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport. Your local guide will pick you up at the airport, then make your way to the hotel for check in. Spend the rest of the day at your leisure. 

Day 2 - Arusha - Tarangire National Park

Depart for Tarangire National Park, Tanzania's third largest national park and home to an exceptionally large elephant population. The park's majestic baobab trees are an interesting feature, dwarfing the animals that graze beneath them. Observe how the animals gather near the Tarangire River, which serves as the area's only stable water supply. There is a wide range of endemic species, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, and up to 6,000 elephants in the area. Enjoy thrilling game drives with picnic lunch before making your way to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3 - Tarangire National Park - Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha

Make your way to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area after breakfast and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for an exciting game viewing. The Ngorongoro Crater, one of the world's largest preserved calderas, is home to around 25,000 wild animals. Take in the breathtaking scenic beauty of the Ngorongoro Crater and get a chance to sight Africa’s legendary Big Five: lions, leopards, black rhinos, elephants, and buffalos. You will enjoy a picnic for lunch as you enjoy the magnificent wonders of nature. Afterwards, ascend the crater late in the afternoon and travel back to Arusha, marking the conclusion of your adventures with us.
