Itinerary
Day 1 - Arusha - Tarangire National Park
Meet and greet your local guide at the designated pick up location, then head towards Tarangire National Park. Although Tarangire National Park is one of Africa’s smaller parks, it is densely packed with endemic flora and fauna, particularly its large elephants herds which are everywhere and up close. The gigantic baobab trees in the park are a unique feature, dwarfing the animals that graze beneath them. Observe how the animals concentrate near the Tarangire River, which serves as the area's only reliable source of water. There are many indigenous species in the area, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, and elephants. Enjoy exhilarating wildlife drives with a picnic lunch before returning to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2 - Tarangire National Park - Serengeti National Park
Set out for Serengeti National Park after breakfast. The Serengeti National Park, best known for its migration, is without a doubt the world's most well-known wildlife reserve, unrivaled in terms of natural beauty and scientific significance. It also has the biggest concentration of plains game in Africa. There will be millions of zebras, wildebeests, and buffalos. The vast herds are due to the annual migration; an incredible moment when nature demonstrates its own force and beauty. When you witness the sunset over the Serengeti, you will surely be left amazed with its incredibly breathtaking scene.
Day 3 - Serengeti National Park
Spend another day exploring Serengeti National Park and embark on a thrilling game drive in the park! The Serengeti National Park is most known for its large herds of wildlife creatures, including buffalos, wildebeests (gnu), gazelles, and zebras, and it is the only spot in Africa where vast land-animal migrations still take place. Keep a watch out for endemic creatures such as cheetah, giraffe, leopard, lion, and zebra while driving through the park, as well as the classic African bush elephant. You may even witness some predators on the hunt. It may be a harsh scene for some, while it is a great show for others. This should be an excellent introduction to African wildlife. Then, make your way to the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater Campsite known as Simba Camping, where you may experience one of the most breathtaking views in the world.
Day 4 - Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha
Drive out of the Serengeti and to Ngorongoro Crater for a game viewing drive after an early breakfast. The Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa's most spectacular landscapes, is thought to contain the highest animal density in Africa. The Crater has achieved worldwide acclaim, attracting an increasing number of visitors each year. You won't be able to avoid other vehicles here, but you will be rewarded with fantastic wildlife viewing in a wonderfully stunning area. There is no other UNESCO World Heritage Site in Africa like Ngorongoro!
Take in the beautiful scenery of the Ngorongoro Crater and get the opportunity to see Africa's fabled Big Five: lions, leopards, black rhinos, elephants, and buffalos, as well as the endangered black rhinoceros. You will have a picnic lunch while admiring nature's spectacular beauties. Then, return to Arusha and spend the night.
Day 5 - Arusha - Lake Duluti
Visit Lake Duluti after breakfast. You will spend the day paddling on the lake, admiring the spectacular landscape and wildlife that surrounds it. Lake Duluti is an excellent area to see birds such as the fish eagle, grey heron, osprey, and egret. Afterwards, return to Arusha, where your safari adventure comes to an end.
