Itinerary

Day 1 - Nairobi - Masai Mara National Reserve

Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Drive to the Masai Mara National Reserve, one of Kenya’s world-renowned national parks. Appreciate the breathtaking views as you head past the Great Rift Valley viewpoint. You will arrive in Masai Mara National Reserve just in time for lunch. Afterwards, go on a thrilling game drive to start exploring the reserve's natural wonders. While out on the drive, look out for the park's endemic wildlife such as cheetah, giraffe, leopard, lion, zebra as well as the iconic African bush elephant.

Day 2 - Masai Mara National Reserve

Spend the entire day exploring Masai Mara National Reserve in search of the legendary Big Five! One of the greatest wildlife reserves in Africa, the Masai Mara National Reserve is renowned for its exceptional populations of cheetah, leopard, lion, and the iconic African bush elephant. A rich variety of birds, including immigrants, are abundant in the area. Take time to spot birds of prey among the bird species that have been identified and documented. One of the highlights of Masai Mara National Reserve is the Great Migration, which takes place every year from July to October. Countless herds of gazelle, wildebeest, and zebra can be seen crossing the Mara River during the season as they look for more vegetation.

Day 3 - Masai Mara National Reserve

Take an early morning game drive before sunrise to watch the predators as they finish their evening hunt and to capture beautiful sunrise photographs over the Masai Mara plains. You will have some free time after a late breakfast. You can swim or take a stroll through the park's lovely environs, which are home to a variety of native plants and small wildlife. Take a second game drive in the afternoon to search for animals and cross more endemic species off your list. You may also want to make time for an optional cultural encounter with the local tribespeople. Ask your driver/guide to organize a visit to the Maasai villages to observe and learn more about their way of life and culture. Finish your four-day vacation with a pre-dawn hot air balloon ride over the park. Nothing beats waking up with the sun rising over a vast park and watching it come to life in the early morning hours. Your guide would be pleased to make the necessary arrangements.

Day 4 - Masai Mara National Reserve - Serengeti National Park

Start the day with an early morning game drive. After breakfast, depart for Isebania, the Tanzania and Kenya border point. You will then proceed to the Serengeti National Park after completing the customs and immigration formalities. Upon arrival, set out on a thrilling evening game drive before heading towards your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Day 5-6 - Serengeti National Park

Spend the next two days exploring Serengeti National Park! The Serengeti National Park is most known for its large herds of plains animals, including wildebeests (gnu), gazelles, and zebras, and it is the only spot in Africa where vast land-animal migrations still take place. See the reserve's natural treasures and amazing wildlife on thrilling game drives. Keep a watch out for endemic creatures such as cheetah, giraffe, leopard, lion, and zebra while driving through the park, as well as the classic African bush elephant. This should be an excellent introduction to African wildlife.

Day 7 - Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Crater

Drive out of the Serengeti and to Ngorongoro Crater for a game viewing drive after an early breakfast. The Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa's most spectacular landscapes, is thought to contain the highest animal density in Africa. The Crater has achieved worldwide acclaim, attracting an increasing number of visitors each year. You won't be able to avoid other vehicles here, but you will be rewarded with fantastic wildlife viewing in a wonderfully stunning area. There is no other UNESCO World Heritage Site in Africa like Ngorongoro!

Take in the beautiful scenery of the Ngorongoro Crater and get the opportunity to see Africa's fabled Big Five: lions, leopards, black rhinos, elephants, and buffalos, as well as the endangered black rhinoceros. You will have a picnic lunch while admiring nature's spectacular beauties. Then, return to your lodging for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 8 - Ngorongoro Crater - Karatu District - Arusha

Visit Karatu District, a local village near the lodge after breakfast. You may also unwind at the lodge or go shopping. Afterwards, return to Arusha, where your safari adventure comes to an end at the Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport.
