Itinerary

Day 1 - Nairobi - Amboseli National Park

Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Your local guide will meet you at the airport, then drive south of Nairobi to the Amboseli National Park, one of Kenya’s most popular national parks. After lunch, go on a thrilling game drive to start exploring the reserve's natural wonders. While out on the drive, look out for the park's famously stunning African elephants as they gather around the seasonal wetlands in the dry bushland.

Day 2 - Amboseli National Park

Spend all day exploring Amboseli National Park. Due to the region's scant vegetation, there is a great chance to witness some of Africa's most well-known species. Throughout the day, spot lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and wildebeest in addition to a wide range of bird species. Amboseli National Park is renowned for being among the best places to see African elephants up close. The beautiful Mount Kilimanjaro may be seen from this location in Southern Kenya.

Day 3 - Amboseli National Park -  Lake Nakuru National Park

Get up and say goodbye to the majestic mountain as you depart to the Great Rift Valley to view its magnificent towers and gorges. Arrive at Lake Nakuru National Park, stopping along the way to observe the sheer drop of the escarpment at the Great Rift Valley View Point. Continue driving with an optional stop at Thompson Falls (entry fee not included in cost), arriving in time for lunch before continuing on a game drive later in the afternoon. The hippo and clawless otters are among Lake Nakuru National Park's notable wildlife. Waterbuck, Bohor's Reedbuck, and zebra can also be seen roaming along the shore. If you are lucky, you can also spot both black and white rhinos living in the forest and woodlands as well as other noteworthy wildlife species such as the buffalo, lions, leopards, and the Rothschild's giraffes. Afterwards, check out the numerous lesser flamingos that live in the lake when the water level is low, turning the lakeshore pink.

Day 4 - Lake Nakuru National Park - Masai Mara National Reserve

Enjoy a morning game drive before departing Lake Nakuru National Park for Masai Mara National Reserve, where you will have your lunch. You will then continue your adventure with exhilarating games drives in the afternoon. Home to a great concentration of mammals, Maasai Mara Game Reserve is regarded as the ultimate wildlife reserve in Africa. Take in the most diverse remaining wildlife population in the world along with stunning scenery, endless plains, and breathtaking scenery.

Day 5-6 - Masai Mara National Reserve

Spend the next two days exploring Masai Mara National Reserve! One of the greatest wildlife reserves in Africa, the Masai Mara National Reserve is renowned for its exceptional populations of cheetah, leopard, lion, and the iconic African bush elephant.

Go on thrilling game drives to capture the reserve's natural wonders and amazing wildlife. While out on the drive, look out for the park's endemic wildlife such as cheetah, giraffe, leopard, lion, zebra as well as the iconic African bush elephant.

You may also want to make time for an optional cultural encounter with the local tribespeople. Ask your driver/guide to organize a visit to the Maasai villages to observe and learn more about their way of life and culture. Finish your four-day vacation with a pre-dawn hot air balloon ride over the park. Nothing beats waking up with the sun rising over a vast park and watching it come to life in the early morning hours. Your guide would be pleased to make the necessary arrangements.

Day 7 - Masai Mara National Reserve - Serengeti National Park

Start the day with an early morning game drive. After breakfast, depart for Isebania, the Tanzania and Kenya border point. You will then proceed to the Serengeti National Park after completing the customs and immigration formalities. Upon arrival, set out on a thrilling evening game drive to see the beautiful sunset before heading towards your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Day 8-9 - Serengeti National Park

Spend the next two days exploring Serengeti National Park! The Serengeti National Park is most known for its large herds of plains animals, including wildebeests (gnu), gazelles, and zebras, and it is the only spot in Africa where vast land-animal migrations still take place. See the reserve's natural treasures and amazing wildlife on thrilling game drives. Keep a watch out for endemic creatures such as cheetah, giraffe, leopard, lion, and zebra while driving through the park, as well as the classic African bush elephant. This should be an excellent introduction to African wildlife.

Day 10 - Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Crater

Drive out of the Serengeti and to Ngorongoro Crater for a game viewing drive after an early breakfast. The Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa's most spectacular landscapes, is thought to contain the highest animal density in Africa. The Crater has achieved worldwide acclaim, attracting an increasing number of visitors each year. You won't be able to avoid other vehicles here, but you will be rewarded with fantastic wildlife viewing in a wonderfully stunning area. There is no other UNESCO World Heritage Site in Africa like Ngorongoro!

Take in the beautiful scenery of the Ngorongoro Crater and get the opportunity to see Africa's fabled Big Five: lions, leopards, black rhinos, elephants, and buffalos, as well as the endangered black rhinoceros. You will have a picnic lunch while admiring nature's spectacular beauties. Then, return to your lodging for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 11 - Ngorongoro Crater - Lake Manyara National Park

Depart for the nearby Lake Manyara National Park for an exciting game viewing drive after breakfast. Your first glimpse will be of large groups of baboons. The Lake Manyara National Park gets its name from the shrub Euphorbia tirucalli, also known as 'Emanyara' in the Maasai language. Yellow fever trees are sprinkled over the grassy lakeshores, and the Rift Valley wall is visible everywhere. The park's entry is in a very distinctive environment - beautiful green foliage, tree-climbing lions, the soda lake teeming with hundreds of pink-hued flamingos, large water birds, baboon troops, and the Rift Valley escarpment make this safari unique. A picnic lunch will be served at a picnic area.

Day 12 - Lake Manyara National Park - Tarangire National Park - Arusha

Depart for Tarangire National Park, Tanzania's third largest national park and home to an exceptionally large elephant population. The park's majestic baobab trees are an interesting feature, dwarfing the animals that graze beneath them. Observe how the animals gather near the Tarangire River, which serves as the area's only stable water supply. There is a wide range of endemic species, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, and up to 6,000 elephants in the area. Enjoy thrilling game drives with picnic lunch before making your way back to Arusha, where your safari adventure comes to an end at the Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport.
