One of Madagascar's most well-known reserves, Berenty is the best place to be if you want to see different species of lemurs and the south's largest colony of fruit bats or flying foxes.

The reserve lies at the bend of the Mandrake River amidst a vast area of sisal plantation. Three areas make up the reserve: a spiny forest region called Rapily, the main Berenty Reserve, and a forest area named Bealoka.

On this day trip, you will be with an English-speaking local guide who will show you resting nocturnal lemurs and other hard-to-find species. The trails are extensive and easy to follow, and you will have no trouble finding ringtail lemurs, brown lemurs, Verreaux's sifakas and so much more!
