5-Days Gorillas and Wildlife safari in Uganda

Day
1 Hotel Pickup and transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP

Our staff will meet you at Airport and start your drive to the hotel to Queen Elizabeth National Park and wait to set very early in the morning for the Queen Elizabeth National Park game safari drive. In this park you will see lots of
Elephants, Buffaloes, Hippos, Kobs, and many others.

The journey involves a lot of stopovers along the way for scenic viewing and photography.  Spend some time at the equator, Mpambire craft makers and Bushenyi farmlands for sightseeing. We’ll then head on through the wetlands and tea plantations of western Uganda and down on to the plains of the Queen Elizabeth conservation area, arriving at our lodge in the late afternoon. We may have time for an evening game drive, in search of hyena, leopard elephant and of course, those lions up a tree, or you may just feel like watching the sunset from the tranquility of your lodge bar. Day 2 Big Game drive and transfer to Bwindi National Park

After an early breakfast. we’ll go for a game drive in the QENP for the famous elephants, the hippos sand bathing, the buffaloes, leopard and bushbucks. After lunchtime, you will go for the boat cruise on kazinga channel, along this channel, you will a lot of elephants, buffaloes and hippos swimming, beautiful birds, this takes about 2 hours. In case you didn’t see some animals in the morning, we can go again for the evening game drive to look for what we may have missed in the morning. After going back to the lodge and take some refreshment and rest. While enjoying the wilderness, we’ll be on the lookout for the famed tree climbing lions and healthy population of hyena as well as elephant, hippos and many antelopes. After lunch at the lodge, we’ll take the winding road travelling through the lakes, forests and mountains of western Uganda. We reach our destination overlooking the Ruhija sector of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in the late afternoon. Check in to your Hotel for Dinner and overnight Stay, this will be at Gorilla Safari Lodge.

Day 3 Tree climbing Lions and transfer to Bwindi for Gorilla Trekking

Early morning, you checkout your hotel and after breakfast, we shall transfer to Bwindi for gorilla trekking through the Ishasha Sector of the park; while enjoying the wilderness, we’ll be on the lookout for the famed tree climbing lions and healthy population of hyena as well as elephant, hippos and many antelopes. After lunch at the lodge, we’ll take the winding road travelling through the lakes, forests and mountains of western Uganda. We reach our destination overlooking the Ruhija sector of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in the late afternoon. Check in to your Hotel for Dinner and overnight Stay, this will be at Gorilla Safari Lodge.

Day 4 Gorilla Trekking at Bwindi!

Early Morning, have breakfast then head to the park offices. After a briefing from your ranger, you head on foot to find your gorilla group. The walk can be anything from 30 mins to 4 hours but is usually in the 1–2-hour range. The going can be tough, the terrain steep, vegetation lush and the weather wet but when you finally come across the magnificent beasts it will all be worthwhile! You will spend one hour with them, observing their day-to-day activities at close quarters, following them through the forest. The time will fly but the memories will stay with you forever.

After travel back to the Hotel for relaxation and get revived. Take advantage of the beautiful scenery and also take as much photos as you can. Depending on the energy, you can visit the batwa and the experience with the oldest tribe in East Africa.

Day 5 Transfer back to Kampala, stop at Lkae Mburo National Park

Early morning, you will check out of your hotel, and we start the journey back to Kampala, this is full of beautiful sceneries like hills and farmlands in the southwestern Uganda. You will reach in Lake mburo National Park in the afternoon, we shall stop here for about 3hours, we shall look for the zebras as they are famous in this park. After we shall continue to Kampala at your hotel or Airport
