Meet the true king of the DR Congo River on this multiday fishing adventure from Kinshasa. Known and feared in Central Africa for its 32-razor sharp teeth, having jaws strong enough to gut crocodiles, and being the world's most aggressive freshwater fish, very few fishermen can boast to have caught it. This ferocious fish which easily goes past 100 kg can only be found in the Congo River basin, along with four other distinct and ancient dinosauric species.
Start your trip with a pick-up from Kinshasa by private boat. Go up north and find a private island owned by a Belgian family for years now. This will be your home base in the next few days of tiger fishing fun. During your stay, you'll be assisted by your host who will not only help you with your daily meals and drinks but also assist in reeling in the meanest fish on the planet.
The rooms on the island are well-equipped with electricity, hot water, and air conditioning - a luxury you won't always find in accommodations by the DR Congo. At the end of each fun and tiring day, you'll have a nice and comfortable place to go home to where you can just relax and not worry about anything else.
